In light of current world events with COVID-19, supporting one another has never been more important. Wingfield Counselling & Psychotherapy Services is now offering online counselling and therapy via secure videoconferencing or telehealth appointments.
COVID-19 POLICY
Subject to change based on provincial recommendations.
Counsellor's Role:
-My office is arranged to allow for social distancing and I will limit how I allow people to move around the offices.
-I am always sanitizing high-touch surfaces between each in-person client, and at the end of every day.
-My office is equipped with hand sanitizer, wipes and disinfectant spray.
-I offer online appointments if you are feeling unwell, are isolating, or simply just prefer it to in-person at any time.
-I offer no-touch payment options and requesting card-transaction or e-transfer for all payments.
Client's Role:
-I will be upholding our cancellation and no-show policies to allow adequate time for other clients on waitlists to be scheduled. Please allow 24-hours notice if you are not able to make the appointment as scheduled.
-Prior to every in-person appointment, you will receive a COVID-19 questionnaire. Please have this completed prior to arriving for your appointment.
-Upon arrival, please call, text, or email me to let me know that you have arrived. I will come and let you into the building.
-Please make sure to wear a mask when coming into the office. You are welcome to take it off once you have sat down. If you do not have a mask, I will provide one for you outside of the office.
-At this time, we are not allowing other people to sit-in on appointments, which includes parents or other support persons. If this is required for you, please speak with me to make arrangements.
